Summer McIntosh

  • Gold in Women’s 400 m freestyle with a time of 3:56.26, leading from start to finish 

    • This marked her first world title in this event and her fifth career gold at the Championships, tying her with Kylie Masse and Penny Oleksiak for most by a Canadian .

  • Fastest qualifier in women’s 200 m individual medley (IM) semifinals with a time of 2:07.39, earning a spot in the gold-medal final on July 28

  • On July 28, won gold in the Women’s 200 m IM, clocking 2:06.69, nearly two seconds ahead of Alex Walsh (USA) and with Mary‑Sophie Harvey earning bronze in 2:09.15

Mary‑Sophie Harvey

  • Made the 200 m IM final, placing 6th in the semifinals (2:10.19), then rose to bronze in the final (2:09.15) behind McIntosh and Walsh
