Toronto Blue Jays Update: Playoff Hopes Stay Alive

The Toronto Blue Jays are still in the American League playoff race, and Sunday’s impressive win over Baltimore provided a much-needed boost as the regular season enters its final weeks.

Pitcher Trey Yesavage has progressed to throwing and could potentially return late in the regular season. Outfielder Anthony Santander is also continuing a rehabilitation assignment in Triple-A.

The Blue Jays have little room for error now.

The offence needs to continue producing, the starting rotation must provide dependable innings, and the bullpen has to protect leads.
