Atlantic Canada is heading into another busy fall cruise day on Wednesday, September 30, with ships scheduled in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Saint John, New Brunswick
Saint John is expecting two cruise ships on Wednesday.
Seven Seas Splendor — Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Arrival: approximately 7:00 a.m.
Departure: 4:00 p.m.
Norwegian Jewel — Norwegian Cruise Line
Arrival: 8:00 a.m.
Departure: 4:00 p.m.
That will put two ships on the Saint John waterfront during much of the day, bringing thousands of passengers and crew into the city. The Saint John community calendar confirms both September 30 calls and directs visitors to Port Saint John for the cruise schedule.

Port Charlottetown currently lists Zuiderdam as On Time, while Le Bellot is marked Time Change, making it particularly important to check the port schedule before heading to the waterfront.

One point worth watching: the City of St. John’s schedule lists Seabourn Ovation as arriving in St. John’s on September 30 for an overnight call into October 1, while the broader Cruise Newfoundland and Labrador schedule lists the ship at Twillingate on September 30. Because these sources conflict, Seabourn Ovation’s September 30 destination should be considered subject to confirmation.
A Busy Wednesday on the Atlantic Coast
From the Bay of Fundy to Newfoundland, September 30 will bring a mix of large cruise ships, luxury vessels and expedition ships to Atlantic Canadian communities.
Saint John will have the Seven Seas Splendor and Norwegian Jewel, Halifax welcomes SH Vega and Celebrity Silhouette, Charlottetown has Zuiderdam and Le Bellot, and Corner Brook welcomes MS Vista. Several additional expedition calls are scheduled around Newfoundland and Labrador.
For waterfront businesses, restaurants, attractions and tour operators, it should be another active day in what is traditionally one of the busiest periods of Atlantic Canada’s fall cruise season.
