Big win last night: Toronto crushed Cleveland 11–0, keeping the Jays firmly in the American League Wild Card race.

• Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was the star, going 3-for-4 with a home run and 5 RBIs. It was his biggest offensive game of the season.

Dylan Cease delivered another excellent start: 6 scoreless innings, 4 hits, 4 strikeouts and no walks, improving to 10–5.

Toronto is now 1½ games behind Cleveland for the final AL Wild Card position. Texas and Baltimore are tied with Toronto immediately behind Cleveland.

Today’s game: Blue Jays at Guardians, 1:10 p.m. ET, the finale of the three-game series.

• Upcoming: Toronto heads to Kansas City for three games beginning Friday.
