Saint John is starting the week with a busy waterfront, summer events and a major cruise-ship visit.
🚢 CRUISE SHIP IN PORT TODAY
⚓ MS VOLENDAM
The Holland America Line MS Volendam is scheduled to arrive in Saint John at 7:00 a.m. today and depart at 2:00 p.m.
The Port Saint John schedule lists approximately 1,432 passengers aboard the ship.
Cruise visitors can enjoy the Uptown area, including the Saint John City Market, Market Square and the waterfront.
Next scheduled cruise: Norwegian Breakaway — August 28.
🌊 WATERFRONT NEWS
Saint John is looking ahead to a major new vision for its waterfront.
Envision Saint John, the City of Saint John, Port Saint John and Fundy Harbour Group are seeking proposals for a long-term waterfront strategic plan looking toward 2050.
The goal is to improve tourism, attract investment and make better use of the waterfront’s existing attractions and infrastructure.
