Heavy rain on the way for parts of New Brunswick

A developing weather system is expected to bring widespread rain beginning late tonight and continuing through Friday across much of the province.

• Rain moves in from the southwest late this evening into the overnight hours
• Heaviest rainfall expected Friday morning through early afternoon
• Showers gradually taper off later Friday into the evening

💧 Rainfall amounts:
• General totals of 25–40 mm
• Locally higher amounts up to 50 mm+ possible where heavier bands set up

• Periods of heavy downpours reducing visibility
• Water pooling on roads and in low-lying areas
• Possible minor flooding in poor drainage spots
