On Family Day in New Brunswick, most businesses, including malls, big-box stores, grocery stores, and the Saint John City Market, will be closed. Some drug stores may have reduced hours. NB Liquor and Cannabis NB stores will be closed, but some agency liquor stores may be open.

Provincial and municipal government offices will be closed, but Canada Post offices will remain open with regular mail delivery. Saint John Transit buses will not be running, while garbage and compost collection will follow the usual schedule.
