(Arrest) Canada-wide Warrant

The Saint John Police has arrested a 31-year-old man on a Canada-wide warrant issued for being unlawfully at large.

It is reported that:

On September 24, 2024, a warrant was issued for breaching the conditions of his statutory release. It is alleged that he failed to remain at the Community Correctional Facility.

Saint John Police Patrol Officers located the man near an uptown encampment and took him into custody without incident.

The accused remains in custody.

The Saint John Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.

Canada-wide Warrant Eric Martin, 48

The Saint John Police is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Eric Martin who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

It is reported that:

On September 18, 2024, a warrant was issued for breaching the conditions of his statutory release. It is alleged that he failed to report to the Community Correctional Center as required.

MARTIN is described as 5’6”, 152 lbs, brown hair, and hazel eyes. He has an 8-ball tattoo on his left forearm and a tribal symbol on his left upper arm.

Eric Martin is a 48-year-old serving a 3-year, 5-month and 4-day sentence for convictions of; flight from peace officer, operating motor vehicle while prohibited, and possession of property obtained by crime.
